luogo e data di nascita:

Los Angeles based composer/arranger/band leader Brian Eisenberg is the recipient of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award, the Downbeat Magazine Student Music Award, the ASCAP Plus Awards, the John Philip Sousa Award, and the Palomar Council Reflections Award. His music is published with the UNC Jazz Press, Imagine Music, and Hamar Percussion Publications.
He has composed/arranged music for the Brian Eisenberg Jazz Orchestra, tha San Diego Alliance Drum and Bugle Corps, the San Diego State University Drumline, cruise ship showbands, and several high school and middle school bands.
Brian Eisenberg graduated with Distinction and Pi Kappa Lambda Honors from San Diego State University, after studying composition with David Ward-Steinman (Aaron Copland, Darius Milhaud, Milton Babbitt, Nadia Boulanger) and Rick Helzer (Clare Fischer). In 2005, he was accepted into the BMI Jazz Composer's workshop "A" group in New York City, but was unable to attend due to previous commitments.
Brian directs the 17 piece Brian Eisenberg Jazz Orchestra, a contemporary big band comprised of some of the finest musicians in the world. The group pushes the boundaries of jazz music through a combination of innovative writing and improvising while keeping a strong link to the past. Brian's compositions and arrangements are brought to life by musicians who are artists in their own right, bringing their complementary dynamic that helps create the modern paradigm of jazz composition. The line between composer and improviser, theme and variation, head and solos, has been blurred to create a seamless integration of creative collaboration.
