Formazione e studi: ha studiato composizione presso l’Oberlin Conservatory e la Columbia University sotto la guida di Maryanne Amacher e con George Lewis. Ha conoscenza tecnica di diversi strumenti musicali.

Impegni artistici e commissioni: suoi lavori sono stati eseguiti dagli ensemble ICE, Telea, Jack Quartet, San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Eighth Blackbird e dal gruppo rumeno Hyperion ensemble.
Attività creativa: le sue composizioni fanno riferimento alla relazione acustica con il mezzo elettronico e si avvale di strumenti specifici per ottenere un risultato di interazione tramite le disponibilità strumentali fornite dalle tecnologie moderne. Sono veri e propri “muri sonori”.
