A native of Hungary, film composer Adam Balazs emerged into the international film scene from his adopted hometown, Los Angeles by scoring multi-award winning, critically acclaimed movies that had one thing in common: a distinctive, unique musical voice.
In addition to putting a musical signature to all his scores, Adam’s impressive musical versatility is demonstrated in a wide array of independent and studio projects that include the score for The Butterfly Effect 3.
Also included in his body of work, Adam wrote music for over 100 spots for HBO (network and off-channel image) and Cinemax (complete network re-design and all multiplex channels).
Adam is also the first Hungarian composer to premiere his work, Path of the Extraordinary at Carnegie Hall, 2006, since Bela Bartokpremiered his Concerto for orchestra, 1944. The work was commissioned for the 50th Anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution.
