He studied musicology at the Charles University in Prague where he also undertook studies in composition. He has composed symphonic, chamber and vocal works as well as music for theatre,television and cinema. His compositions have been performed in many countries around the world.
He has orchestrated and adapted traditional and contemporary songs for Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the Bulgarian National Radio, with which he brought out the CD Along the trail of Hieronymos the Singer.
He has composed the music for the performance The Τales of Hambis which was presented at the Kypria International Festival in 2009. Then followed the series of concerts titled Together with his own work and that of the Turkish Cypriot composer Kemal Belevi.
