Mirzoev is a composer, musician and a columnist and a graduate of Baku Music Academy.
He is the founder of SoNoR music ensemble (1995) and the founder of Centre for Contemporary Music Initiatives (1998). He is an author of various musical projects in Azerbaijan and abroad and co-editor of Kultura.az, cultural and art portal at the web.
